My product design process changed, dramatically.

As a designer, it’s funny how for the past 8 months, I’ve used almost exclusively (code + copy) as my main design tool.

I rarely open Figma nowadays. I use it mostly to check some UI kits; other than that, it’s of no use.

Seeing other designers obsessing about pixels feels weird. And also, I kind of lost the motivation to focus on things like this when I can go straight to market now and get real-world insights.

Designed and shipped around 10 products in the last 8 months.

Prototyping:

With AI, now I move much faster, and I go to extra mile by building what I’m designing, so I get feedback straight from the market.

Here are a few recent examples:
How can we test if people are willing to bid to rent premium apartments?
How Discogs can test if there is demand for people wanting to stream all shared tracks in users collection?

How It Works (7 Days):
Discover:
Define the challenge (Day 1)
Prototype: Build a quick solution (Days 2–4)
Validate: Test with real users (Days 5–6)
Deliver: Get insights & next steps (Day 7)

Landing page design:

I use Notes instead of Figma. Write copy and iterate. If it flows and makes sense then move to Figma.

I strongly believe that if the copy sounds interesting in a text-only format, you can even use just that without any design.

Designing MVP’s:

Transform the opportunity into a design in under 4 weeks. Powered by AI and UI kits. Perfect for getting started and having a solid base.

From spreadsheets to a slick SaaS in 4 weeks:

Using AI to streamline the design process.

Curious, how your process changed over the years.
